Soluciones present at VMworld 2017

VMworld 2017 in Las Vegas has ended and in Soluciones we are very pleased to have participated once again in this amazing annual event of the WMware company. Looking ahead, the strategic direction that VMware showed through all sessions, panels and networking, during the 4 days of the event, places us in a central role, bringing our knowledge and vision to those organizations that seek to nurture with VMware solution, Its IT infrastructures, such as leading a new multi-cloud era.

Our participation in VMworld 2017 was made up of Javier Carballo, Vice President of Soluciones and Adrián Tortora, CTO of Soluciones Our representatives in VMware exhibition, traveled accompanied by a large group of clients of the firm.

Having participated in other editions of VMworld, the latter was surely one of the most interesting and undoubtedly an event that “changed the game”. With more than 20,000 attendees in Las Vegas, VMworld 2017 was the world premiere of new and amazing solutions that will help solve strategic IT priorities.

The 14th edition of VMworld 2017, addressed the “digital transformation” as a central theme and the possibilities it offers. The event included several speeches and presentations from industry leaders, as well as panels and sessions focused on the user, training to obtain certification and laboratories about the most outstanding topics in the industry such as Unified Administration of Terminals, Hyper-convergent Infrastructure, Administration and Services in the Cloud, Virtualization in the network, and Internet of things.

The event also served as a launching pad for a series of Cloud services from the host company VMware. The announcements included VMware Discovery: an automated inventory service that improves the visibility of the cloud; VMware Cost Insight: an optimization and cost monitoring service for public and private clouds; Wavefront by VMware: a platform for analyzing and monitoring metrics; VMware NSX Cloud: a service that provides security and network for operational applications in multiple public and private clouds; VMware Network Insight: a security and network analysis service built expressly for data centers defined by software and public clouds; and VMware AppDefense: a security solution that protects applications by embedding control of them.

VMworld, is the main destination to know the latest innovations about Cloud infrastructure, and mobile technology for business. It is an indispensable event to discover technology, trends and the people who are shaping the future of the digital business.
